<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy operation of satellite signal measurement. <P>SOLUTION: A satellite signal receiver 40 includes a measurement component 43 that measures a received satellite signal. The receiver further includes a first processing unit 44 so as to improve the operability of the measurement, and the first processing unit 44 executes a software 45 that controls the measurement component 43 based on a received control parameter.
