<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water storage type water heater in which the heat insulation performance of a hot water storage tank is improved and which is high in heat insulation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a cylindrical shell plate 105 and an upper end plate 106 and a lower end plate 107 which are almost semi-spherical to be joined to the shell plate 105 with a hot-water storage tank 10 for holding hot water to be provided. A vacuum heat-insulation material 12 is provided to cover the shell plate 105. The upper end plate 106 has a double structure containing an internal space 106c which is in a vacuum state. The vacuum heat-insulation material 12 is so extended as to cover the upper end plate 106 by going over a junction part (outer periphery welding part 108) between the shell plate 105 and the upper end plate 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
