SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING A TIRE

Techniques for repairing a tire are provided. A system is provided with a housing, a pressure source, an inflation hose, and a tire sealer. The housing has an inflation side and a sealant side. The pressure source pressurizes a fluid and is positioned in the housing. The inflation hose (activatable from the inflation side) is connectable to the pressure source and the tire for establishing fluid communication therebetween. The tire sealer (activatable from the sealant side) is connectable to the housing and is provided with a container with a sealant therein, a valve connectable to the container, and a sealant hose. The valve is connectable to the pressure source for diverting the pressurized fluid from the pressure source to the container to release the sealant. The sealant hose is connectable to the valve and to the tire for establishing fluid communication therebetween whereby the sealant is passed into the tire.
