<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste liquid treatment technology for efficiently performing denitrification treatment of a waste liquid containing nitrite nitrogen and ammonia nitrogen by use of granules of anammox bacteria. <P>SOLUTION: This waste liquid treatment device 10 includes: a treatment tank 11 capable of storing the waste liquid ER containing nitrite nitrogen and ammonia nitrogen, and the anammox granules AG; rotary stirring members 12, 13 that are each a liquid flow generation means making the anammox granules AG stored inside the treatment tank 11 flow together with the waste liquid ER. The stirring members 12, 13 are installed to a rotary shaft 16 driven by a motor 15 that is a power source.
