<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for electrically producing deionized water which produces high-purity deionized water while suppressing the formation of scale. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for electrically producing deionized water has at least one of desalting treatment part which is composed of a desalting chamber D and a pair of concentration chambers C1, C2 being disposed on both adjacent sides of the desalting chamber D and being filled with anion exchangers, between a cathode chamber E1 and an anode chamber E2, wherein the desalting chamber D is partitioned by an ion exchange membrane into a first small desalting chamber D-1 adjacent to one side of the concentration chamber C1 and a second small desalting chamber D-2 adjacent to the concentration chamber C2, the anion exchangers are filled in the first small desalting chamber D-1 and the anion exchangers and cation exchangers are filled in the second small desalting chamber D-2 in such an order that the ion exchanger through which water to be treated passes last is an anion exchanger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
