INTERPRETATION TERMINAL, AND INTERPRETATION METHOD USING MUTUAL COMMUNICATION BETWEEN INTERPRETATION TERMINALS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic interpretation terminal whereby the performance of automatic interpretation is improved by exchanging information usable for automatic interpretation through communication between two or more portable automatic interpretation terminals, and to provide a method for interpretation through communication between automatic interpretation terminals.

SOLUTION: The interpretation terminal includes: a network interface for communicating with a interpretation terminal of a correspondent second party; a voice recognition unit for recognizing a voice emitted by a first party; a translation module for translating the voice recognized by the voice recognition unit into a set language; and a control unit for setting a language used for interpretation of another party via the network interface, and providing the interpretation terminal of the second party with a sentence translated by the translation module.
