<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lidded container which includes a lever and an engaging implement which can surely tighten and simply open a lid body and which can simply be molded. <P>SOLUTION: An engaging protrusion 30 is provided to a second circumferential wall of the lid body and a locking means 32 to the engaging protrusion is provided to a first circumferential wall 6 of the container body. The locking means includes a lever 38 projecting from the first circumferential wall through a first horizontal rotary shaft A<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and an engaging implement 44 projecting from a lever part near the first rotary shaft through a second rotary shaft A<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, wherein the lever 38 is turned on the side opposite to the engaging protrusion to lock the lid body 18 with the engaging implement 44 engaged with the engaging protrusion. In the engaging implement 44, the tip of an arm 48 is integrally connected to both sides of the lever 38 in the same direction projecting from both sides of the engaging bar 46 able to be engaged with the engaging protrusion 30 to form a second thin hinge 54 between a connection part 50 and the other arm part.
