<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control unit of a power supply unit which is capable of suppressing power use in a power consumption unit with high efficiency and has high energy saving performance. <P>SOLUTION: The power control unit comprises: the power consumption unit of which two or more sets are mounted in a computer apparatus; a plurality of power supply units supplying an electrical power to the power consumption unit, which are the plurality of power supply units including the power supply units having a different suppliable electrical power; a device power calculation part calculating an electrical power supplied from the plurality of power supply units to the power consumption unit that is a driving object; a storage part storing a combination of the power supply unit that are made to drive and a device power amount in association with each other; a power supply unit selection part reads from said storage part a combination of the power supply unit that is made to drive in accordance with the device power amount of the calculation result of the device power calculation part; and a control part making the power consumption unit supply the electrical power with the power supply unit ON in accordance with the combination of the power supply unit read by the power supply unit selection control part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
