<p>The present invention relates to a strainer wall structure which is used to remove impurities from fluid admitted into a pipe and a recirculation pump when the recirculation pump is driven via the operation of an Emergency Core Cooling System (ECCS) upon the occurrence of a pipe fracture accident at a nuclear power plant; and to a filtering method using the strainer wall structure; and a method for manufacturing the strainer wall structure. The strainer wall structure of the present invention is a strainer wall structure having at least one inlet end into which cooling water flows, and a discharge end from which filtered cooling water is discharged, and comprises: a body having an open portion at the inlet end, a sealed side surface, and a discharge hole defined in the side of the sealed surface; a filter screen inserted in the open portion and formed as a perforated plate having a plurality of filtering holes; and a modular cassette device configured of first filter plates and second filter plates. The first filter plate is inserted in the body and is formed by bending a perforated plate defining a plurality of first cutouts, and the second filter plate is formed by bending a perforated plate defining a plurality of second cutouts inserted in the first cutouts. The modular cassette device is formed in a lattice structure by assembling the plurality of second filter plates perpendicularly to the plurality of first filter plates aligned in parallel.</p> |
