<p>A pull-out mode selection display apparatus mounted in a vehicle, provided with: a pull-out mode storing means for advance storage of pull-out modes indicating how a vehicle is to pull out from a parking space, said pull-out modes corresponding to parking modes indicating how the vehicle is to park into a parking space; a parking mode determining means for determining the parking mode used when the vehicle is parked at a parking space; a means for detecting an instruction from an occupant in the vehicle to begin to pull out from the parking space, after the vehicle is parked at the parking space; and a selecting/displaying means for selecting and displaying a pull-out mode which is from the pull-out mode storing means and corresponds to the determined parking mode, in response to the instruction to begin pulling the vehicle out. The parking mode can be determined not only in cases when the vehicle is parked using automated steering, but also in cases when the vehicle is parked by manual steering. As only the appropriate pull-out mode is selected in response to the parking mode, accidental selection of an inappropriate pull-out mode can be avoided when the vehicle is being pulled out with the automated steering for example.</p> |
