PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a data communication device having high general-purpose properties which can flexibly deal with the modification or the like of an interface which an information terminal device is equipped with. SOLUTION: In the data communication device 21, which has an antenna module 22, connection connectors 24, 25 to be connected to the information terminal device, and a signal processing circuit 30 for connecting between the antenna module 22 and the connection connectors 24, 25, and which is used for radio data transmission/reception, between an external storage medium and the information terminal device, a case 23 accommodating the antenna module 22 and a housing 27, having the connection connectors 24, 25 and the signal processing circuit, are formed independently of each other and are further formed so that the both can be combined.
