PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device and its driving method, a driving circuit, and electronic equipment that can suppress crosstalk without increasing power consumption nor making circuit constitution complex. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device is equipped with a plurality of scanning lines Y1 to Yn and a plurality of data lines X1 to Xm which are wired crossing the respective scanning lines. Further, the liquid crystal display device is equipped with a dummy electrode 23 which is wired crossing the respective data lines and capacitively coupled with the respective data lines, an inverting logic circuit 31 which compares a voltage signal DET appearing at the dummy electrode 23 with a specified voltage VT and outputs a variation part of the voltage signal DET, and logic circuits 33 and 34 which add the variation part of the voltage signal DET outputted from the inverting logic circuit 31 to the potential of a scanning signal supplied to each scanning line.
