Method for flood coating a polymeric material

Flood coating of a polymeric material, comprises: (a) inserting at least one component into a holder, at an angle of 25-90[deg] to the base; and (b) coating the component from the upper edge with a varnish comprising 4-methyl-2-pentanone (10-30 wt.%) and/or its derivatives. An independent claim is also included for a device for carrying out the above method at least comprising (i) a holder for inserting the component with an angle of 25-90[deg] to the base, (ii) a nozzle mounted on the component for applying a coating, and (iii) an air nozzle aligned on the upper edge of the component and/or a heat source.
