PURPOSE: An apparatus for managing hydrogen and a membrane filter for the same are provided to secure safety in the hydrogen generating environment of a vessel using a fuel cell and separating hydrogen using a separate membrane filter in order to use the separated hydrogen for the fuel cell. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for managing hydrogen includes a hydrogen sensor(100), a controlling part(102), a power part(106), a pressurizing and driving part(108), and a membrane filter(200). The hydrogen sensor measures the concentration of hydrogen. The controlling part generates a power controlling signal according to the comparing result of the measured hydrogen concentration value and a pre-set critical range. The power part generate power corresponding to the power controlling signal. The pressurizing and driving part corresponds to the power of the power part and generates pressurized air to be discharged to the outside. The membrane filter passes hydrogen from the pressurized air.
