<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure for stabilizing bulk density of toner in a toner conveying path 52 during preparation operation for charging the toner in toner conveying path 52. <P>SOLUTION: Toner conveyance amount per unit time during the preparation operation in which a toner non-charged part exists in the toner conveying path 52 is made smaller than that when the toner is conveyed during image formation. Thus an amount of toner conveyed by a screw 53 is suppressed with respect to an amount of toner fed into the toner conveying path 52, consequently the bulk density of the toner in a toner conveying path 52 can be stabilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
