<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube pump and liquid ejection apparatus, capable of selecting and performing, in a simple constitution, suction and discharge of a fluid in a plurality of patterns through a plurality of openings formed in the longitudinal direction of a tube. <P>SOLUTION: The tube pump includes: a tube 65 having a base end opening 65a for sucking and discharging ink, a front end opening 65b and intermediate opening 65c releasing an inner space to the open air, and an elastic part 62 having an elasticity, in different positions in the length direction; a frame 63 having a supporting surface 63d supporting the elastic part 62 along its length direction; a pressing roller 77 rotatable about a drive axis between a holding and non-holding regions B and A; and a first and second air releasing valves 71 and 73. The pressing roller 77 is rotatable in either of the direction to approach to the base end opening and the direction to separate from it in the length direction of the tube 65, and the roller rotates in one direction to move to the non-holding region A after moving through the holding region B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
