<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker that accurately detects a boiling state of a heated body without reference to the capacity and kind of the heated body and the shape and material of a pan. <P>SOLUTION: The heating cooker comprises: a top plate on which a pan is placed; a heating coil arranged below the pan; a drive circuit which supplies a high-frequency current to the heating coil; a signal operation unit which detects vibration of the pan through the top plate, extracts signal components of mutually different first and second frequency bands from the detected vibration signal, and computes a ratio (r=P<SB POS="POST">2</SB>/P<SB POS="POST">1</SB>) of intensities of (P<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, P<SB POS="POST">2</SB>) of the signal components of the first and second frequency bands; a state determination unit which determines the boiling state of the heated body accommodated in the pan based upon the ratio of intensities of the signal components of the first and second frequency bands detected by the signal operation unit; and a control circuit which controls the drive circuit so as to supply the high-frequency current corresponding to the boiling state determined by the state determination unit to the heating coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
