TAXI DISPATCH SYSTEM USING CELLPHONE DEVICE WITH GPS FUNCTION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taxi dispatch system that enables efficient operation of taxi drivers and helps unspecified number of taxi users to immediately find a nearest empty taxi from a current position of a user and to quickly get in a taxi.

SOLUTION: A system control center 10 composing a web server 11 and an electronic bulletin board 12 is used to control vehicle information transmitted from a cellphone device with a GPS function carried by a taxi driver in service and positional information of a taxi 30 measured by a GPS 20. When a taxi user transmits a request for a taxi dispatch by using a cellphone device 40, information regarding an empty taxi in the area of the current position of the user is provided by the system control center 10 and the taxi user is enabled making a direct request of taxi dispatch to the driver of the empty taxi 30.
