<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle air conditioning apparatus for detecting information on the sense of occupants about temperature and more detailed physical condition information with high accuracy, and properly performing pre-air conditioning using the information. <P>SOLUTION: A pre-air conditioning button 506 which is a key 5 of a remote controller functions as a photoelectric pulse wave sensor. The occupants press the sensor. As a result, pulse waves of the occupants outside the vehicle are detected, pulse rates and blood flows are calculated from the pulse waves.
