PURPOSE: A transfection method of a gene into adult stem cells is provided to minimize the number of necessary peptides for intracellular gene delivery. CONSTITUTION: A peptide gene carrier contains linear saturated carboxylic acid of C10-C20 and 5-20 alginine residues. The linear saturated carboxylic acid is palmitic acid. A method for carrying a gene into adult stem cells comprises: a step of forming a polynucleotide complex and peptide gene carrier; and a step of applying the complex into the adult stem cells. The linear saturated carboxylic acid is palmitic acid. The adult stem cell is mesenchymal stem cells. The surface phenotype of the mesenchymal stem cells is CD105+, CD166+, CD29+, CD44+, CD14-, CD34-, and CD45-.
