PURPOSE: A parcel classification system is provided to reduce the classification time of parcels by rapidly scanning barcode labels marked on the parcels using a scanner. CONSTITUTION: A parcel classification system comprises barcode labels(20), a conveyor device(30), a scanner(40), and classifying and transferring conveyor devices(50). The barcode labels are attached on the surface of boxes(10a) of parcels(10) unloaded from a vehicle. The conveyor device conveys the parcels having the barcode labels to the scanner. The scanner scans and reads the barcode labels marked on the surface of the boxes of the parcels. The classifying and transferring conveyor devices classify the read parcels and transfer the parcels to persons. |
