PURPOSE: A forging assembly and an operating method thereof, which releases impact applied to a forging product, are provided to prevent the quality decrease of a forging product by releasing impact which is generated in the falling process of a forging product. CONSTITUTION: A forging assembly comprises a press, a conveyor, a movable plate(300), a cylinder(400), a support rail(310) and a restraining member(320). The press comprises an outlet discharging the forging product. The conveyor transfers the forging product exhausted from the outlet. The conveyor is expanded along one-way. The movable plate is installed between the outlet and the conveyor of the press. The movable plate receives the exhausted forging product and is fell to the conveyor. The cylinder is connected to the movable plate. The cylinder offers the power for reciprocating the movable plate. The restraining member is installed in the upside of the movable plate. The restraining member restricts the movement of the forging product according to the movement of the movable plate.
