<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both reduction of pitch noise and improvement of drainage performance. <P>SOLUTION: In an pneumatic tire 1, tire rotation direction is identified when a vehicle advances forward, and a plurality of inclined grooves 12, which are extended gradually toward the front side F of the tire rotation direction as they go from center portion of tire width direction H toward outside end of the tire width direction H, are formed at an interval in the tire circumferential direction on the outer circumferential direction of a tread 11. Thin land parts 14 extending along the inclined grooves 12 are provided protrusively on the bottom wall surfaces of the inclined grooves 12. Projection height of outer end located at the outside end of tire width direction H at the inclined grooves 12 in the thin land parts 14 is structured to be lower than the projection height of inner end located at the inside end of the tire width direction H at the inclined grooves 12 in thin land parts 14 and the depth of the inclined grooves 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
