#CMT# #/CMT# The tool has a support plate (1) that is formed concentric to a centre longitudinal axis (7). The support plate exhibits a centre opening (3) for receiving a drive shaft of a drive machine. A fiber grinding disk (9) is formed from a fiber disk (10) with a resin-bound abrasive lining (11). The fiber grinding disk exhibits an outer annular grinding region (8) that is arranged radial to the centre longitudinal axis. The fiber grinding disk is supported or glued to the support plate using an adhesive layer (12), where the disk exhibits a grinding side (4) and made of vulcanized fiber. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Rough grinding tool for use on a hand grinding machine. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The tool can be manufactured in a simple and economical structure. The fiber grinding disk is supported or glued to the support plate using the adhesive layer, thus preventing tearing of fiber grinding disk even during high loads in rough grinding or avoiding breaking of the fiber grinding disk even during a torque overload and even if the outer edge of the fiber grinding disk strikes against a workpiece. The fiber grinding disk is glued to the support plate, thus avoiding detachment of small or large segments from the fiber grinding disk, and hence avoiding injuries to the user.
