<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a means capable of correcting only using K toner regardless of a residual quantity of coloring material in such a case that even color machine is used with a function restriction only in outputting monochrome, although there is a method as implementing a tone correction of only color that the residual quantity of coloring material is detected and determined as remaining enough in an image formation device forming an output image using a plurality of colors. <P>SOLUTION: At correction, a color for correcting is selected, which is controlled to correct only using the selected color.
