<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace a tool such as a bite in a fully-automatic manner without stopping a machine for the ultraprecision machining of a roll mold for molding a large-size plastic sheet. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic tool replacing apparatus includes: a replacing device 62 which comprises an ascendable/descendable pivoting arm 61 with a pivot shaft pivoted on a horizontal plane, a hand 72 for detachably gripping a tool holder 42, and a lifting and lowering drive portion for lifting and lowering the pivoting arm 61; a tool holder stocker 60 in which a plurality of placing bases are circumferentially disposed in the state of keeping a distance from the pivot shaft constant, and in which the tool holder 42 is detachably held on each placing base; a holder base 64 which is attached to a cutter holder 30, and provided with a clamp mechanism for fixing and unfixing the tool holder 42 by rotating a clamp shaft 74; and a clamp shaft operating device 66 which has an operation portion for performing the operation of clamping and unclamping the tool holder by rotating the clamp shaft 74. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
