<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that accurately and easily determines whether weld quality is acceptable or not without the need to set a threshold to determine the weld quality according to a welding condition for each welded spot, nor being influenced by diverse disturbances, and to provide a system thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The method for determining whether weld quality is acceptable or not, determines right and failure states of the quality of a lap resistance welding. The method includes: a resistance value waveform generation step (S3) of generating a resistance value waveform representing a variation of a resistance value with respect to an energization time by measuring (S2) a resistance value between electrodes during welding; a resistance value waveform classification step (S4) of identifying the generated resistance value waveform with one of the resistance value waveform patterns caused by the predetermined diverse disturbances; and a first weld quality determination step (S5) for determining whether the weld quality is right or failure state based on the determination standard predetermined for each resistance value waveform pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
