<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus and a method thereof for warning a driver about the possibility of departure as necessary, even if there is a specific region. <P>SOLUTION: The driving support apparatus for supporting the driving of a vehicle includes: region detection means for detecting a predetermined specific region; entry determination means for determining whether the vehicle has departed from the lane to enter the specific region; obstacle detection means for detecting an obstacle around the specific region; and driving support means for supporting the driving of the vehicle on the basis of a result of the entry determination means for determining the entry to the specific region and a result of the obstacle detection means for detecting the obstacle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
