<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel manufacturing device configured to enhance the working efficiency of a sorting unit, enhance efficiency of manufacturing a liquid crystal panel as a whole, and also, achieve space-saving around the sorting unit. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel manufacturing device 100 includes: a sealing material application unit 10 to apply a sealing material of a predetermined pattern on the surface of a substrate constituting a liquid crystal panel; a sealing material inspection unit 30 to inspect the pattern of the sealing material; and a sorting unit 20 to convey the substrate with the sealing material applied thereto to the sealing material inspection unit, and also, convey the substrate returned after finishing the inspection by the inspection unit, to a following step unit 50. In this case, the sealing material inspection unit is configured to inspect the pattern of the sealing material applied to the substrate, and when the pattern satisfies a predetermined condition, determine the substrate as a non-defective one, then, return the non-defective substrate to the sorting unit, on the other hand, when the pattern does not satisfy the predetermined condition, determine the substrate as a defective one, then, send the defective substrate to a storage unit 40 without returning the defective substrate to the sorting unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
