<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of dealing with a change in frequency characteristic of a post processing device and appropriately reducing noise while keeping image detail. <P>SOLUTION: An image taken through a lens system 100 and a CCD 101 is converted by an A/D 102 into a digital signal and stored in a buffer 103. The output of the buffer 103 is connected to an output part 106 via a noise reduction process part 104, an edge reinforcement process part 107 and a signal processing part 105 in this order. The noise reduction process part 104: separates an image signal read from the buffer 103 into a plurality of frequency components; performs a conversion process for each of the separated component; and combines the same to reduce noise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
