PURPOSE: An oil mist collecting method based on a condensing mode and an absorbing mode is provided to prevent environmental pollution by primarily condensing oil mist and secondarily absorbing non-condensed oil mist. CONSTITUTION: A condensed oil separator(12) is installed on the path of a collecting pipe(11) supplying oil mist. The condensed oil separator separates condensed oil and oil mist while the oil mist is supplied. An absorbing tower is installed on the path of the collecting pipe and absorbs the oil mist from the condensed oil separator. A vacuum pump(14) is installed on the path of the collecting pipe and compulsively transfers the absorbed oil mist from the absorbing tower. A chiller(16) circulates coolant to condense the oil mist in a condenser(15).
