<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of collecting power regenerated by vehicle deceleration energy, while suppressing a heating value of field winding and being able to prevent burning of the field winding. <P>SOLUTION: A motor generator for vehicle includes: an inverter unit of which AC side is connected to armature winding of the motor generator, and DC side is connected to a secondary battery through a step-down converter; a capacitor which is connected between the step-down converter and the inverter unit with little accumulation of electricity capacity with rated charging and discharging power larger than the secondary battery; and a control circuit which controls field current of the motor generator, while controlling the inverter unit, and operates a motor generator as an electric motor or a generator. The motor generator for vehicle computes the amount of power supplied to the field winding for each prescribed time, when the amount of power supplied to the field winding exceeds a prescribed value, restricts the magnetic field current value flowed to the field winding to a first prescribed value during a second prescribed time, and restricts the limit value of the field current to the second prescribed value which is larger than the first prescribed value after lapse of the second prescribed time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
