<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor discharge type internal combustion engine ignition device that can surely stop an engine when necessary without causing a risk of a malfunction or breakage of a circuit element caused by a surge intruded via an engine stop switch. <P>SOLUTION: An output voltage of a half cycle at one polarity of an exciter coil 1 that induces an AC voltage synchronized with the rotation of an engine is used to charge an ignition capacitor 3, and the charge stored in the capacitor is discharged via a primary coil 2a of an ignition coil 2 to obtain a high voltage. In such a capacitor discharge type internal combustion engine ignition device, an engine stop switch 10 that is turned off when the engine is stopped is inserted into the charging circuit of the ignition capacitor, and a constant voltage circuit that performs an operation for limiting the induced voltage of the exciter coil to a certain value or lower is connected to both ends of the exciter coil 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
