The invention relates to a double clutch for a double-clutch variable-speed transmission in motor vehicles, having two wet-running multiplate clutches (K1, K2) which are arranged axially one behind the other in a transmission housing (12), having a drive input clutch housing (14) and having two drive output clutch hubs (22, 24) which are arranged on transmission input shafts (32, 38) and which can alternately be placed in driving connection with the clutch housing (14) via clutch plates (48, 50), and also having annular pistons (62) which can be acted on hydraulically with pressurized oil and which alternately exert load on the clutch plates (48, 50) via pressure discs (54, 60), wherein the annular pistons (62) are mounted in a movable manner in end walls (12b, 12c), provided at both sides of the multiplate clutches (K1, K2), of the transmission housing (12) and can be supplied with pressurized oil via ducts (12d) arranged in the end walls (12b, 12c), and wherein in each case one axial rolling bearing (66) is arranged between the annular pistons (62) and the pressure discs (54, 60) which can be subjected to load from outside the clutch housing (14).
