<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically magnify a subject contained in the entire image displayed on one display region and display it on the other display region. <P>SOLUTION: A two-screen display mode is provided in which, with a major side of a display screen in vertical direction, a first display region and a second display region are vertically arrayed to be displayed on the display screen. In the two-screen display mode, a magnified or reduced image having been selected by a subject indication part 6e is displayed on the first display region. The record data containing the subject represented by the magnified or reduced image that is selected by the subject indication part from an image memory part is detected.
