<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC component prediction system and an AC component prediction program which can improve prediction accuracy even further by predicting other orthogonal components than those in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction in AC component prediction. <P>SOLUTION: A data reading part 3 reads from a storage part 2 data equivalent to reference information of an object block PBs which is a processing object and its average value. A former-stage prediction part 4 calculates a component α and a component β which regulate a component of Hadamard basis in the horizontal and vertical directions by linear prediction using the average value and the reference information of the object block PBs. A latter-stage prediction part 5 calculates a component γ about the object block PBs by weighted summation using a pixel value of a prescribed processed region and the components α and β. A data writing part 6 writes into the storage part 2 image data corresponding to the components α, β, and γ about the object block PBs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
