<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain channel member and a floor covering structure capable of watertightly joining a floor covering material without causing a joint defect and performing excellent waterproofness for a long period even when applied with an adhesive to a sub-floor of an outdoor common hallway or a veranda that is exposed to sunlight or the weather. <P>SOLUTION: A drain channel member 10 comprises a channel member main body 1 having a recessed channel part 1d that discharges drain water, and a thin wedge part 1a arranged on both the right and left sides 1f or one side 1f of the channel member main body 1, having an undersurface that is flush with an undersurface of the channel member main body 1 without a gap. The wedge part 1a for joining a stacked edge part of a floor covering material thereon is outwardly arranged along the entire length of the drain channel member main body 1. A floor covering structure comprises the drain channel member 10 and the floor covering material that are adjacently applied with an adhesive to a sub-floor, and the wedge part 1a of the drain channel member 10 adhesively joined with the end part of the floor covering material stacked thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
