<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping machine, which can be used for an ordinary mowing work and a work for reaping the foliage of crops planted on ridges by a simple exchange of components and carry out the works accurately. <P>SOLUTION: The reaping machine comprises: a reaping part 5 for carrying out a reaping work; side plates 53 supporting both ends of a rotary shaft 50 of the reaping part and extending in parallel with a traveling direction of a tractor; gage wheels 6 disposed behind the reaping part 5; and a foliage guidance rods 7 with the tips thereof placed forward and downward from the rotation outer circumferences of reaping blades 51 of the reaping part and inclined so as to be upward toward the rear from the tips in side view, and with the rear ends thereof placed in the inside of the rotation outer circumferences of the reaping blades 51.
