<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover glass for a solar cell providing excellent performance capable of improving electric generation efficiency by improving light transmittivity and of preventing deterioration in electric generation performance due to long-term use by improving anti-contamination performance. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a cover glass for a solar cell, a solution containing at least one element selected from a group consisting of organo silica sol and colloidal silica and condensate of organo alkoxysilane is applied on the surface of a glass to be used as a substrate, and the glass is heated to 620 to 730°C and then cooled down. A cover glass for a solar cell has a ceramic layer containing SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, which is formed of a solution containing at least one element selected from a group consisting of organo silica sol and colloidal silica and condensate of organo alkoxysilane, as a main element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
