<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center hinge mounting structure which enhances supporting strength against an impact load from the rear without impairing the convenience of a luggage compartment and its appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The center hinge (5) includes fixed-side hinge members (51, 52) having bases (512, 522) placed on a vehicle body floor (2) and supports (511, 521) extending upward from the bases, and lateral movable side hinge members (53, 54) mounted to lateral seat backs and rotatably supported on the supports. The center hinge is fixed to the vehicle body floor with fastening members (57, 58, 59) at least two positions shifted in the vehicle longitudinal direction of the base. A cross member (25) extending in the vehicle width direction is connected to the lower side of a floor panel (23) which constitutes the vehicle body floor, and at least one (58, 59) of the fastening members is disposed at the vehicle longitudinal direction rear side of the cross member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
