<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cartridge capable of preventing poor discharge from occurring in a recording head, and to provide an image forming device forming an image with a liquid supplied from the liquid cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: An ink jet printer 1 includes an ink jet head 2, an ink cartridge 40, a sensor, and a control part 100. The ink cartridge 40 includes an ink bag, an ink outlet pipe with a first valve and a second valve, which is communicated with the ink bag, an actuator operated so as to switch the second valve between opened and closed states, and a storage part storing data indicating a predetermined time.
