PURPOSE: A dissociation agent for banknote paper is provided to remove epoxy resin(epichlorohydrin) without chemicals which are harm to human body. CONSTITUTION: A dissociation agent for dissociating banknote paper comprises a liquid ingredient containing hydrogen peroxide and 2-buthoxy ethanol; and a solid ingredient containing soda ash and sodium persulphate. The weight ratio of the hydrogen peroxide and 2-buthoxy ethanol is 7:3 -9:1. The weight ratio of the soda ash and sodium persulphate is 1:9-4:6.
