PURPOSE: A parking control method and apparatus are provided to execute parking control to a parking space by differing separation distance with an obstacle according to the kind of the obstacle. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic wave signal receiving part(110) receives an ultrasonic signal which is reflected to an obstacle. An obstacle kind determining part(120) grasps intensity of the ultrasonic signal. The obstacle kind determining part determines the kind of the obstacle according to the intensity of the ultrasonic signal. A parking control part(140) is inputted an obstacle kind decision result. The parking control part controls separation distance with the obstacle. The parking control part executes parking control to a parking space. |
