PURPOSE: A toner for developing electrostatic images is provided to improve the hot-offset resistance characteristic of the toner and to form images of high definition. CONSTITUTION: A toner for developing electrostatic images is composed of a binding resin and toner particles. The binding resin is in a specific domain/matrix structure. The toner particles include a coloring agent. The volume-based median diameters of the toner particles are between 4.3 and 7.0 um. The matrix phase of the binding resin is composed of a styrene-acryl-based resin or the polymer of a polyester-based resin. The domain phase of the binding resin is composed of a polymer including a structural unit derived from a diene-based monomer.
