<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, a display control method and a display control program which can make a deep impression on a player by being switched from invisible images to visible images when the player can switch the visible images and the invisible images. <P>SOLUTION: A polarizing film having a first transmission axis for making polarized light of irradiation light pass therethrough is arranged on a liquid crystal display panel of a liquid crystal display device comprising the liquid crystal display panel which indicates performance images when irradiation light for forming the performance images is emitted from a light source. When the passage of a game state for providing a game using game media is instructed, the liquid crystal display device is covered with a polarizing member having a second transmission axis perpendicular to the first transmission axis. The performance images which are indicated on the liquid crystal display panel of the covered liquid crystal display device are updated to other performance images according to the second game state.
