<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent "a slug killing bait" from getting wet by rain while facilitating disposal of dead "slugs". <P>SOLUTION: A slug exterminating device comprises a container. The container is configured as follows. The upper opening end is on a substantial plane. The inner wall is inclined obliquely inwardly toward an inner bottom. One to several notches are provided at the upper opening end. The notches have the size that allows "slugs" to pass therethrough. "A slug killing bait" is deposited on the bottom by the method for adhesion or coating or the like.
