<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mother panel for a liquid crystal display panel, the panel having better uniformity in the heights of PSs within a substrate, a liquid crystal display panel, and a method for producing a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display-panel mother panel 250 of the present invention is the mother panel 250 for extracting one or more liquid crystal display panels 50 and comprises: a first mother substrate; a second mother substrate facing the first mother substrate; a sealing material provided to each of the liquid crystal display panels and used for bonding the first and the second mother substrates; and a plurality of PS1s which are provided between the first and the second mother substrates to regulate panel gaps of the liquid crystal display panels 50.
