<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor insertion device which doesn't require work for receiving a rotor again and is capable of reducing an amount of device shaft deflection. <P>SOLUTION: The rotor insertion device includes: a stator frame mounting base 4 on which a stator frame of a rotating electric machine is mounted; a fixed support base 9 which is coaxial with an axis of the stator frame mounted on the mounting base, can be moved in an axial direction, and has, in an end nearer to the stator frame mounting base, a shaft having a tapered recess formed thereon; a movable support base 15 which is coaxial with the axis of the stator frame mounted on the mounting base and has, in an end nearer to the stator frame mounting base, a shaft having a tapered recess formed thereon; and rotor support rollers 23 and 24 which support the rotor to be inserted to the stator frame, movably in the axial direction. A rotor shaft having tapered projections formed in both ends thereof is held between the tapered recess formed on the shaft on the fixed support base side and the tapered recess formed on the shaft on the movable support base side, to insert the rotor to the stator frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
