<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch joint which can raise fabrication yield without requiring high-precision work forming of an upper seal part on the joint body. <P>SOLUTION: This branch joint B comprises an arc platy saddle section 2 adhered to outer circumference of a main tube, a cylindrical branch tube 3 integrally-formed by connecting its axis line O1 directional lower end 3c side with the saddle section 2, a cylindrical branching pipe connection 4 integrally-formed by connecting its axis line O4 directional one end side with outer circumference 3a of the branch tube 3, and a seal plug 20 prepared, in the branch tube 3, as freely-movable in the axis line O1 direction of the branch tube 3. The branch joint further includes a ring-shaped pressure welded member 21 prepared by detachably-fixing outer peripheral edge 21a side onto upper end 3b side of the branch tube 3 and a ring-shaped upper seal member 23 attached to upper end face 20a of the seal plug 20, and is configured such that the seal plug 20 is pulled up to the upper end 3b side of the branch tube 3 while the upper seal member 23 is vertically pressure-welded and sealed to the pressure welded member 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
