<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to reduce flickers which can occur in three-dimensional television. <P>SOLUTION: When a video to be reproduced is a three-dimensional video including a first parallax image and a second parallax image formed when viewing an object in a three-dimensional space from different view points, a video attribute determination unit 26 determines whether the frame rate of the video is within the range of a predetermined frame rate in which flickers can occur in the video. When the frame rate of the three-dimensional video is within the predetermined frame rate in which flickers can occur, a frame rate conversion unit 22 raises the frame rate to above the range of the predetermined frame rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
